Aubrey continued to pose in magazines, causing Diddy to say that she had a tendency to increase her popularity at the expense of the group and ultimately fire her in 2008. A year later, the group disbanded. Aubrey was a part of her first Broadway show Hairspray. She starred as a model for Playboy as well as American High School both in the year 2009. In 2011 she started her own reality TV series All About Aubrey for the Oxygen Channel. Her appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2012 which ended in third place. In 2012 she released her debut EP. Danity Knae was reunited in 2013, only to break up again by 2014. Aubrey and Shannon Bex, a former band member of Danity Kane, founded dumblonde in the year 2015.
